I went with a purple background today. My wife Stephanie loves purple and I’m partial to it as well. I try to draw the basic outline in a single stroke but the neck didn’t look correct on the right side so the outer skin is actually two strokes. I added facial features to fit the outline. That took both bucket fills and an airbrush for the nose. I added the tank top and that’s where I finished working on the foreground. The background needed a little sparkle so I made a custom pencil to add some dark purple stars. The artist mark was last but it looks to big compared to the rest of the picture. Hopefully it works for you.
