Platemail

As a teenager I played a lot of Dungeons and Dragons. Paladins in platemail were my favorite. Today’s art is an attempt to recreate the wonder and magic in those suits of armor. I have actually seen medieval armor since then but the fantasy images remain in my head. The platemail in this image is a multielement pen draw in white and grey and black on InkScape. The background is from GIMP2 in dark browns and blues with a moon, stars and an artist mark made with a single custom pencil.
