The semicolon represents the determination to carry on. It is the outgoing heartbeat. The upside down semicolon represents tears. It is the incoming heartbeat. (GIMP, toilet paper)

    I love the idea, I’m not sure I like it removed from the chest, though. It can’t beat if all the arteries are cut.

        Perhaps the next heart I do will be breathing. I used an annotated medical drawing of a human heart for this design. I wanted to make it as accurate as I could. Well at least the outer shell.
