Black Cat on Gold
The cat is made from single element strokes in InkScape for a linear feel and the background and artist mark are broad brushing in GIMP2 to provide a contrast to the solidity of the cat.

God of Seven
My attempt at a seven armed seven legged god is a little fuzzier than I like. The detail just doesn’t upload properly. GIMP2 Edit: My wife didn’t like it so I did a little more work on the definition.
