My Copacabana Story

Copacabana is a fun song. It’s one of Barry Manilow’s more memorable sounds. In junior high I was a musical snob. The only pop music I would listen (or at least admit to listen) to Barry Manilow and Anne Murray. At one point I was invited to a school dance. The theme was Copacabana. I said no because I didn’t realize at the time that the song was one of Barry’s. I kick myself to this day for a missed opportunity.
